Listen up London, there’s Latino thrills, spills, leaps, half Nelsons and gallons of glitter coming to the capital. Lucha Libre is in town.
And we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky reader!
The mighty Mexican-themed wrestling show combines incredible stunts, some intentional – and sometimes unintentional – hilarity and the occasional bit of audience participation.
What is Lucha Libre? It’s a celebration of all things Latin American wrestling. So look out for masked wrestlers strutting their stuff in (and on) the ropes plus ringside margaritas and mariachi.
Leading the charge will be the Mexican legend El Hijo del Fantasma and cultural icon of Lucha Libre, El Hijo del Santo. And a special mention must go to Britain’s own Cassius the Neon Explosion who’ll be bringing his own brand of bling to proceedings.
Other highlights at the matinee show include astonishing mid-air artistry from Laredo Kid, aerial gymnastics from Cassandro El Exótico and mariachi character El Charro del Mysterio. There’ll also be the wonderful Wrestling Cholitas of Bolivia. Talk about Girl Power!
