Throw away the mistletoe, cast aside that new Christmas jumper. And don’t even think about any pigs in blankets. The Brixton Winter Vegan Festival & Fantasy Costume Party is coming to the Dogstar.
The dress up day/night out is the perfect lightsaber-waving tonic to the Xmas office-booze up. Revellers are expected to come in costume as anything from Vulcan to Vampire. Plus entry’s only a quid!
Organiser Jessica Fox explains her aim is to put on something different. “I don’t want the cheesiness of Santa hats and it’s also a real escape from the horror of 2016. I’m just hoping people will come with lightning bolts on their faces as tribute to Brixton’s David Bowie!”
There’ll be vegan stalls and eco-friendly stocking fillers plus a charity raffle, as well as a prize for best outfit. And vampires with dancing feet can boogie all day at the top floor disco.
The first 250 attending get a FREE chocolate oat milk drink from Oatly.
