The Cato Street Conspiracy 200 Anniversary Event is marking the anniversary of the 1820 Cato Street Conspiracy when an audacious plot to murder the prime minister was discovered.
There’ll be traditional food and drink on offer to keep you sated as well as 19th century -styled magicians. Plus singers. Fancy dress harking back to the era is encouraged and there’s a prize for best outfit!

Back for its 5th year, the weekender is a celebration of all things wonderful about our capital’s independent book stores. Highlights include a FREE late lock-in a West Hampstead book shop, a FREE Hemingway book event in Brockley (featuring a Q & A with great granddaughter of Papa Ernie himself), a kids’ class on how to draw dinosaurs in Crouch End, plus story telling in Brixton. Fun for young and old.
