So the election campaign is finally over – it’s more of an election post-mortem now – and the weekend has begun. Thank God for that! Here’s our top tips to forget all about it and get in the Christmas mood.

Where better to get away from it all than with a charity Pantomime Horse Race. The whacky races are back for its 10th year raising money for good causes. The theme this year is Star Wars so look out for an intergalactic show before anyone bolts and GGs gallop around the streets of Greenwich.
Along with the ‘Equine Strides Back’ vibes there’ll also be a ‘Strictly Neigh Dancing’ to get everyone in the mood early doors. And in true British style, there’ll be numerous pub stops (for two and four-legged types) along the way!
Sun 15th Dec, from 11.30am: Pantomime Horse Race
Fun starts at Devonport House, King William Walk, SE10
