The weekend’s here! As the Christmas countdown continues, there’s loads of festive goings on around the capital. Here’s our top five.

Get in the festive mood with a visit to the newly opened Winterville on Clapham Common. There’ll be loads to do at the pop-up village (some of them FREE) including fairground rides, sampling street food, a Christmas market, kids activities, crazy golf and a cinema.
Visitors can get in the festive spirit this weekend with the family Xmas show, a spin on the big dipper (see above) or even hit up the Abba roller disco on Sunday night.

Dog lovers of London, make sure you take a stroll down to Covent Garden – the FREE Mercer’s Walkies is coming to town.
Humans can pamper their pooch with beauty treatments from canine specialists or snap a pic of their best pal on the specially made podium (pictured). There’ll be competitions for Cutest Puppy, Lookalikes and Best Dressed judged by Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence too. Get there by midday to enter your hound. No dog? No problem – just turn up and enjoy!

If you fancy adding some boozing to your weekend, make straight for the London Brewers’ Market at Spitalfields.
There’ll be upwards of 20 UK based indy beer makers showing off their wares including Beavertown Brewery, London Beer Lab and Anspach & Hobday Visitors can bag some booze or just sample some of the nectar. The soundtrack will be provided by Independent Label Market DJs.

Undoubted freebie of the weekend winner goes to Camden Brewery. The first 100 people who swing by their north London home on Saturday to try their new beer will bag a FREE 12-pack of their Hells Lager just in time for the party season!

If you want to keep the kids entertained in north London on Sunday head for the Primrose Hill Xmas Festival. The FREE one-day event will feature fairground rides, a festive craft fair, food pop-ups, live bands and a Christmas choir. The Primrose Hill lights will also be switched on during the day.
Oh and make sure you keep your eyes peeled for Jude Law and Kate Moss too, obviously…
