This is a fun one for the green-fingered brigade; the eye-catching Barbican Conservatory is opening its doors to Londoners this weekend.
The giant greenhouse – the second biggest of its kind in the capital – houses dozens of tropical plants, trees and fauna. And it’ll be piping hot too so your can get your sweat on!

Get set for handmade jewellery, beautifully made gifts, homewares and loads more at the FREE Spring Makers Market.
The two day event will feature dozens of local traders selling all sorts including stationery, art, kids toys and clothes. There’s even Skint friendly drop in workshops peppered across the weekend including Make a pom-pom keyring.
Hot drinks and cakes will be available too for when you get parched

We couldn’t let this weekend pass without doffing our hats to the wondrous St Patrick’s Day Festival in Trafalgar Square.
Sunday’s fun filled festival in Trafalgar Square caps off a fab weekend celebrating the Irish patron saint. Look out for traditional Gaelic dress, Irish street food, kids’ activities and the odd bit of Riverdance, we imagine. Cheers!
