Shimmy south for flame-throwing, story telling and interactive art displays at the Brilliant Vauxhall: Free Interactive Exploration of Light & Fire.
Highlights at the kid friendly event include an four-metre high lit up globe and a flame installation from Dr Kronovator’s Fire Laboratory. Visitors can also interact with stars from distant galaxies and enjoy a sing song plus there’ll be food and drink too when you get peckish.

If you fancy learning something about our military past then swing by the National Army Museum where historian Penny Hutchins is throwing open their archives.
The FREE to enter display spans the decades from the 1960s to the present day. Expect some funny, moving and amazing treats from their treasure trove.

Regent Street is being converted in to a car-free zone on Sunday as thousands line the street for the FREE Hamleys Christmas Toy Parade! Look out for huge floating blimps, giant floats, colourful dancers, street theatre and live music. Little ones will also get the chance to say hi to their favourite cartoon characters at a dedicated meeting place.
The action heads to Hamleys main stage – outside the world famous department store – from midday before the grand finale at 4.30pm.

If you were thinking about throwing away those old VHS tapes… don’t! Make straight for the Cinema Museum for the 10th Home Movie Day.
It’s a celebration of everything home shot on old school 8mm, Super8, 9.5mm and 16mm film. There’ll be a free film clinic where specialists will help you view and preserve your treasured family footage and a showcase of the museum’s favourite home movies. All with tea and cake.

Fancy a bit of quirky (and early) Christmas shopping? Then get to The Rio for their Movie Memorabilia Fair where stallholders will be selling a selection of classic film posters and cinema nick nacks.
The FREE to enter craft fair will also feature arty prints, jewellery pieces and t-shirts to tempt you. And, if you need some shopping respite there’s hot drinks, cakes and vegan snacks.
