It’s here! The four day Easter weekender is upon us. We wish you good cheer, loads of choc and a lovely break. Oh, it’s going to be a scorcher so grab the sunnies and head outside.

There’s a weekend of fab, fun and FREE activities at the weekend long Let’s Play: Easter festival in King’s Cross.
There’ll be a whole load of FREE activities to enjoy. Kids can hit up the Easter Express vintage land train, a petting zoo, egg hunt, face painting and arts and craft. Elsewhere there’ll be an animal well being workshop, ceramic classes and live music. Yep, loads.

Grab the kids and get down to two days of story telling, Easter trails and Lindy hopping classes at the Horniman Easter Fair.
The Forest Hill natural history museum will also be hosting a farmer’s market and live music on the bandstand for the bigger / very big kids.

Unleash your inner Clarkson and check out dozens of classic cars at the FREE Waterloo Monthly Classic Car Meet.
Visitors can get up close to dozens of classic motors – if you happen to have a classic banger or motorbike then just bring it along! Perfect for a hot Easter Saturday.

Show off your patriotic side at the FREE Festival Of St George in Trafalgar Square.
There’ll be loads to see at Saturday’s event. Check out musical acts on the main stage, hilarious comics in the comedy tent, traditional dancers and an English food market.
There’ll also be a Family Zone where little ones can train to be a Knight and embark on a Dragon Quest. For God, England and St George!

This is a good excuse to get outside in the sunshine. Bee expert, Mark Patterson from Apicultural will be taking visitors on a tour of the park.
Apparently, it’s home to 53 species of bee. Who knew there were even 53? Not us. However, we do know that bees are vital for our food supply – and planet.

Head to Hyde Park for a (very) LOUD fire off to mark the Queen’s birthday.
The monarch turns 93 on Sunday and the day after there’ll be a 41-round gun salute to mark the occasion. Many happy returns, Your Majesty!
