Prepare for acres of flesh: London’s World Naked Bike Ride is back in town!
The cheeky (literally) “clothing optional” procession is a pedalling protest against oil dependency and is both FREE and open to anyone who fancies showing some skin to highlight good causes.
Each year riders snake their way though the capital whatever the weather. And this year is no different. The meeting point for 2017’s day trip is West Norwood where the brave strip off and saddle up. (Panic not: if you don’t fancy going the whole hog, bikers can show up a little earlier and have their modesty covered up with body paint!)
London’s World Naked Bike Ride is back this weekend!
WNBR has become an international phenomenon. The first was in 2004 and now there are more than 50 cities around the world that host their own demos. Thousands take part each year across UK.
Keen to get involved? You can! Just turn up at the start or join the procession. There’s even a nude-optional barbecue back in West Norwood at the end of the day.
Organisers advise: “You don’t need to be completely naked, just go as bare as you dare!”
