Mayfield Lavender Farm may not be what Taylor Swift had in mind when she wrote Lavender Haze, but it certainly matches that description.
The family run farm is 25 acres of beautiful organic lavender and is a sea of sweet smelling mauve in the summer.
Located in the pretty village of Banstead in Surrey – about an hour outside central London – you might well have seen it filling up your instagram feed as it lends itself to some pretty gorgeous pics.
It’s only open for about three months in the summer so you have a limited window to visit. As well as strolling through the lavender and admiring the view you can pop into the cafe for their signature Mayfield cream tea..
It’s also a perfect place to take small humans – who get FREE entry – to run round. No prizes for guessing how much they’ll enjoy a train ride on the farm’s own lavender locomotive, Looby Loo.
If you’ve more time to spare the farm is running special events throughout the summer including Prosecco and Paella sunset sessions.
