Crazy about our four-legged friends? Then head to over to Kensal Green this weekend for a fundraiser to collect cash for a specialist animal charity,

The Mayhew Animal Home’s Open Day  promises to be part-street party,-part-fundraiser. Along with raffles and tombolas, there’ll be specialist stalls for animal lovers, tours of the cattery and vet clinic as well as a parade of the charity’s recently rehomed adopted dogs.

Watch out too for some family-friendly games and kid-friendly activities. There’ll also be live music and a BBQ for when you get peckish.

Mayhew’s is an animal welfare organisation helping neglected and abandoned pets. Best of all, every penny raised goes to helping dogs and cats at the home!
