Shoreditch locals will remember Rapsa when it was the popular 100 Hoxton. Now it’s morphed into the Filipino restaurant Rapsa, rated London’s Number One Philippine restaurant by Trip Advisor three years in a row.
The menu is the brainchild of Mediterranean-trained chef Francis Puyat, formerly of NOPI, Ottolenghi’s West-End masterpiece. At Rapsa, he’s given the gentlest of makeovers to his native cooking whilst keeping true to its authentic Filipino roots.
Known for its dinner sharing plates, party menus and weekend bottomless brunches the restaurant’s put together an all day takeaway & delivery menu that offers lunchboxes, dishes off the dinner a la carte and wholesale prices for spirits, wines, bottle-aged cocktails and beers.

From their ever-popular Slow Roasted Lechon Crispy Pork Belly (£7.50) full of tender meat and crunchy skin served with divine succulent reno sauce to the mouthwatering Pato Tim Confit Duck Leg with puy lentils and pineapple (£10).
Vegans will love the Adobo Eggplant Salad, an exquisite mix of roasted cashews and pickled pepino. Grazers will be all over their Crumbed Halloumi Fingers with banana ketchup (£6). Filipino style sushi using their kinilaw ceviche is coming soon.
All their food is prepared on site using the freshest of ingredients and a technique of vinegar curing to add extra flavour which keeps the use of oil, butter and salt to a minimum.
For now, their doors are open for collection, but all items are available for home delivery through the Rapsa website.
