On Tuesday, McDonald’s is giving away a £2.99 roll with any hot drink ordered on its app so all you need to do is buy a 79p espresso – or fork out more for a tea – and it’s hello freebie.

Just download their app via the App Store and head to the deals section. Click that and then select what drink you’d like. The butty will be knocked off your bill at checkout.
