Dreading being cooped up indoors over Christmas with endless Quality Streets, grumpy relatives and dodgy jumpers? Try sauntering south for some outdoor action.

The South Pole Saloon at Briton Rooftop will have loads of festive fun going on. Watch out for live bands, club nights, FREE parties and jazz jams. Ticket prices vary starting mostly from a fiver up. But keep a beady eye on their calendar – some of their nights are FREE.

Covered and heated rooftop bars will be serving up a selection of seasonal themed cocktails (Snow Globe or Santa’s Tart, anyone?) plus there’ll be a rotating selection of street foods. For something a bit more chill make for their weekend long Cheese Town festival where you can gorge on all sorts of gooey loveliness. Go on, it’s Christmas!
