Now here’s a festive gesture that’s worth shouting about. Pizzeria chain, Franco Manca has pledged it will donate 20,000 FREE pizzas to those in need in the run up to Christmas.
The initiative launches on December 1st and runs for two weeks right across the country – and this is where YOU come in.
They’re asking the public for recommendations so that they can best help the people who most need it. So, whether you know a food bank that could really do with some freebie pizzas or a homeless shelter or maybe a vulnerable elderly neighbour who’d really benefit, get in touch with them at the email address below.
The pizzas will be available for collection at all 42 of their pizzerias from Oxford and London to Bristol and Brighton. They’re also planning on keeping a selection of restaurants open on Christmas Day itself for emergency service workers, including the one in Soho so spread the word.
