Time to head south, people – we know, a big ask if you’re north of the river – but this is the Mother of all food FREEBIES.

Scandinavian eaterie, Mother, is opening its first London outlet at Battersea Power station and to celebrate it’s giving away 2,000 (yes, two-thousand!) completely gratis pizzas at their launch party. And, as if that wasn’t enough, waiters will also be popping open 300 bottles of wine and beer in honour of their big day.

Anticipating a Saturday crowd will be in the mood for dancing, they’ve got that covered as DJ’s will be on hand to get the party in full swing.

Be prepared to hang around for a table – it might be a tad busy, but sounds like it’ll be worth it!
