If you’ve already treated yourself to a new winter coat whatever you do don’t chuck your old one in the bin. Unless it’s threadbare it should go to a good home.
Now in its eighth year, Wrap Up London is back collecting your unwanted coats for homeless and refugee charities.
As always, they’ll be a group of volunteers making it super easy to donate. For three days they’ll be operating collection points every morning across six tube stations: Canary Wharf, Kings Cross, Liverpool St, London Bridge, Victoria, Waterloo in addition to the Broadgate Centre.
So whether you’ve fallen out of love with a chunky green parka or a knee length black wool number – they take all sorts, men and women’s – have a rummage through your wardrobe and see if you can help keep a Londoner warm this winter.
Mon 12th Nov – Wed 14th Nov, 7am – 11am: Wrap Up London
