For a wondrous smorgasbord of music, theatre, poetry…..and hula-hooping roller-disco! – head south of the river because the Brixton City Festival is back in town.

The FREE four-day event in and around community hotspot Ovalspace celebrates the area with an eclectic range of activities.

Highlights include a guided walk around the neighbourhood with street poet Potent Whisper; outdoor theatre in the Ovalspace car park (looking at the history of English protest and dissent); a showcase of Brixton’s best young musical talent and – as promised – some spectacular hula-hooping roller-disco with Marawa the Amazing
