Madness is one of the best-loved bands of the 80s and 30 years later they can still still draw in the crowds, many of whom weren’t even born when they had their first hit.
On Bank Holiday Monday they’re topping the bill at the House of Common festival in Clapham and they’re giving away tickets to some of the most important people in London.
As ‘a sign of their appreciation’ teachers, nurses, doctors, paramedics, firefighters, and police officers are all eligible for FREE tickets. (They’re 35 quid otherwise.) And if you’ve kids under 10 they go FREE as well. Excellent stuff.
All you’ve got to do is register and rock up to the gig with suitable ID (no pretending you’re a firefighter if you’re some hot shot in marketing!).
There’ll be support acts, food, drink, a funfair and a kids area, But don’t hang about – we’ve no idea how long these tickets will last!
Bank Holiday Mon 26th Aug, 12pm – 10pm: House of Common
Clapham Common, SW4
