If you’re missing fantastic classical music, beautiful ballet and world-class opera, you’re in luck; The Royal Opera House is broadcasting some of their favourites for FREE over the summer.
Highlights in July and August include Tchaikovsky’s timeless Sleeping Beauty (pic above), Wagner’s staggering Tristan und Isolde, Rossini’s comic opera Barber of Seville as well as Gounod’s beloved Faust (trailer below).
You can also watch programmes focusing on the reopening of the world famous opera house and a night of outstanding tenors called Opera Italia.
Recorded shows are being put out across TV, radio and online so keep an eye on the ROH’s trusty calendar to make sure you catch your favourites.
If this is the best we can do at the moment culture-wise, then we’re sold!
