Christmas has come early – and is going on late – by the river this year; the Southbank Winter Festival is here. The two-and-a-bit month gala will feature something to warm the cockles of even your most cold-hearted Scrooge.

Look out for the festive market, comedy and cabaret shows and plenty of family friendly fun including the outdoor pop up cinema with loads of FREE outdoor films. There’s all the old favourites from One Hundred and One Dalmatians to The Muppet Christmas Carol. For adults, there’s Bridget Jones’s Diary, Holiday and more. (Hurry up and register for tickets.)

There’s a host of entertainment for little ones from story telling, music to puppetry and arts and crafts. Still want more? Then why not make beautiful music with your movements at the Soundpit or time it to hit up the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks.
