Get ready for a FREE day of live music, incredible Bollywood dance troupes and beautiful light displays at Diwali in the Square.

Sunday’s festivities all take place on the specially made stage in Trafalgar Square. Everyone popping in to the unticketed day can enjoy laughter yoga, tasty street food and a chance to Tie A Turban.There’ll also be kids’ activities – including story telling and puppet workshops.

Highlights include a talk from the fabulous (Judge) Robert Rinder about what he unearthed on BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are?, have your photographs dated with an expert form the National Trust plus a chance to search for any ancestors with tips from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Who knows what you might unearth.

Camden Market is transforming in to a little corner of Mexico City this weekend for the wondrous – and GRATIS – Day Of The Dead Festival.

All amigos can head down can take in the atmosphere with mariachi bands, face painters, kids’ arts and crafts plus a floating mini Mexican market serving central American delicacies and, we dare say tequila shots.

From 8pm on Saturday there’s also a Day Of The Dead Fiesta from 8pm with DJs.
