Here’s a big birthday party we’ll all want to attend. French brasserie Café Rouge is turning the big 3-0 and to mark the occasion they’re winding the clock back with prices from the original 1989 menu across the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Highlights will include Croque sandwiches – with grilled Emmental cheese and frites – for £5.75 and chargrilled chicken baguette with frites for the same price. Or, push the boat out with Steak Frites for just £7.95. Pastries are only 95p each to boot. Maybe best of all, glasses of house wine are £3.95 all weekend. Ahhh, the good old days!
The offer runs at each and every Cafe Rouge in the capital and there’s more than a dozen to choose from. Oh, if it’s your birthday too, staff will even stand you a FREE bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. You’ll have to bring ID for this one and it’s 18+.
