Soho stalwart Ronnie Scott’s turns 60 this weekend and to celebrate the jazz club are putting on a FREE outdoor jamboree.
Guests at Saturday’s street party can enjoy music from 7-piece Eliane & La Evolucion, tunes from saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis plus Children’s jazz group Kinetika Bloco (pictured above).
There’ll be street food and cocktails plus kids can also enjoy face painting, balloon modelling and a bubble show. Many happy returns, guys!

South London, it’s going to be a FREE weekend of music, laughs, animal displays and dance performances at Lambeth Country Show.
There’s absolutely loads going on at the two day gala. Musical highlights include sets from legend General Levy and a moving Aretha Franklin tribute. Look out for a 60+ dance troupe, various animal displays and a stack of kids’ activities. Yep, loads!

Whether you’re a budding architect or like the prospect of demolishing something, help build then destroy a huge cardboard building this weekend! Sounds mad but a good laugh.
The People’s Tower in Guildhall Yard is a 20metre high structure that will be assembled on Saturday. You can then help topple the giant building blocks on Sunday at 1pm.

Get ready for a spot of river dipping and FREE boat trips at the Party on the Pier in Chiswick.
Visitors can enjoy a totally FREE trip on one of the few remaining Dunkirk Little Ships – Princess Freda – or take a canoeing taster session on the Thames. Thames Explorer Trust will also be taking children river dipping so prepare to get those trainers muddy.
There’ll also be plenty of activities for young ones including face painting, live music, cakes and ice cream. Permission to get on board!
