It’s coming up to National Hot Dog Day and to mark the occasion American restaurant chain, The Big Easy has launched its first ever vegan hot dog, the Texan Vegan Not Dog.
Made using Linda McCartney’s vegetarian sausages it’s loaded with BBQ sauce, chilli jam and topped off with crispy onions. And, you can get your mitts on one for nothing.
All three branches of The Big Easy will be giving out 50 lunchtime FREEBIES on the day. Given how much vegan grub has taken off we imagine this is going to be one popular offer so skip out of the office as promptly as you can.
Should you not make it down in time, there’s a great incentive to fork out for one as £1 from every Not Dog sale between now and July 21st will be donated to brilliant food bank charity, the Trussell Trust. You eat, it does good, result.
