The days are long, the nights are short,what is not to like about the start of summer in the capital?! Here’s our faves spots to hit up this weekend.

Shed those pesky clothes, London; The Naked Bike Ride is here. It’s not just a pilgrimage for the nudists and naturists out there, everyone’s invited. That means you!
There’s seven starting points across the city. Participants then peddle with their peloton to the meet up points to ride as nature intended through central London.
Oh and then there’s a massive after party too (tickets from zilch up.) So all in looks fun and affordable!

To celebrate its launch, Kidbrooke Village is hosting a fun-filled summer fête in Bromley with loads of fun for kids and big kids on the purpose built stage.
Watch out for circus demos, fun competitions and dance performances across the day. There’ll also be face painting and an interactive bubble show for the little ones. And everyone can lap up some live music and street food.

Grab the kids and celebrate the end of Ramadan at the FREE Eid Festival in Trafalgar Square.
There’ll be a feast of fun on the specially constructed stage, including a moving recital from a Syrian orchestra, some British Muslim rap plus an Indonesian dance group strutting their stuff. Of course there’ll be delicious street food, henna and kids’ activities.

Need to buff up the wardrobe on the cheap(ish) this Sunday? Then make straight for the Frock Me Vintage Fair on the King’s Road.
There’ll be loads of stalls at Chelsea Town Hall selling all things pre-loved, vintage, second-hand and up-cyled. All in there’s 60 vendors selling clobber from the last century so you’re bound to find some absolute treats from some of your favourite designers.
