Calling all you gamers out there, whether you prefer console, virtual or board games this is the festival for you.

NOW PLAY THIS at Somerset House is a celebration of all things gaming. Visitors can check out the latest cutting edge technology, meet some makers and play some of the best unreleased games out there.

Back for its for its fifth year, the theme for 2019 is games that create a sense of community.

Highlights include the chance to play the Octopad (pictured above); an old school Nintendo with eight (EIGHT!) controllers, a go at the board game Probationary that navigates players through the complex world of the criminal justice system and Propaganda; that looks at how modern societies are manipulated.

There’ll also be a chance to make your own gaming soundtrack plus an interactive sound experience with tiny robots. In short, be there.
