If you’re after keeping the little ones entertained, make straight for the last couple of days of the Imagine Children’s Festival at the Southbank Centre.
The half term extravaganza is a combo of children’s theatre, music, dance workshops and literature. Best of all 50% of the programme is FREE.

Fancy stocking up the wardrobe on the cheap? (Who doesn’t!) Why not hit up the Big London Flea in Stoke Newington this Saturday.
Watch out for more than 50 specially selected traders flogging vintage wares, upcycled clothing and industrial electricals. There’ll be bric-a-brac and bargains galore as always so keep an eye out. Plus food and drink for the peckish and thirsty.

Get creative at the Genesis Cinema. Write Along Movies is a monthly film club. Everybody watches a film – centred on someone writing or creating – and afterwards people disperse into a corner and work on their own project or/and ask others for advice.
As of now, we can’t tell you what film but keep an eye on their social media. What we can say is that it’s all FREE – the film, tea and coffee and you might just meet some really supportive people. A perfect way to galvanise you to kick start that project you’re always putting off!

Looking for something a little different – then this one’s for you;.Bishopsgate Institute is letting the public in to its fascinating fetish records.
Archive Open Day: Fetish Collections houses a fascinating history of BDSM, leather and rubber communities. Guests can explore magazines, posters, clothing and artefacts all out for perusal.
Staff are also looking for any material that could help tell the story of kink and fetish for future generations. So bring it down if you think you’ve got some!

If you go down to Kensington Sunday you’re in for a big surprise…. it’s only the Hugglets Winter BearFest 2019
There’ll be thousands of teddy bears to check out across three floors and at more than 150 stands. New Teds and antiques to buy and check out. Oh and a Teddy hospital if your little pal needs stitching up after all these years.
