Say thank you to household staples Hellmann’s, Marmite and Knorr; the brands have joined forces to bring a one day pop up –  the Cupboard Love Café –  to Covent Garden.

The aim is to show cash-strapped Londoners that super tasty dishes can be rustled up for very little dosh using ingredients that most of us have in our kitchen cupboards. Best of all it’s offering punters 100 FREE meals.

On the menu will be:

*Portobello mushroom coated in a Marmite glaze and stuffed with cream cheese and wilted spinach.

*Moroccan style fluffy couscous, topped with bacon, dried fruit and chickpea tagine flavoured with Knorr vegetable stock

*Asian inspired tuna & Hellmann’s mayonnaise maki roll, with avocado, cucumber and a dash of Sriracha sauce
